This course is the first stage in the TUC Health & Safety training programme. It will help you build the skills, knowledge and confidence you need as a safety rep. The course will cover:
This course will be closely related to what is happening in your workplace. Sessions will be informal and you will be involved in active discussion with other Union reps.
The course is fully accredited by the OCN (Open College Network).

This course is the natural progression from Health and Safety stage 1 and is aimed at more experienced reps who have completed their initial training. It builds on the work undertaken on stage 1 to help you to develop your knowledge and your confidence as a safety rep.

The course is accredited at OCN level 2/3 and it prepares reps for the advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety course.
