Volunteer Training

Training for volunteers is vital and this is something that is very much a priority in the SVP. Last academic year saw courses delivered by Nottingham County Council Staff in:

• Child Protection
• 4 Hour First Aid
• Coaching Disabled Performers
• Team Management

These will also be repeated in 2011/2012 but including much more sport leadership qualifications in a range of different sports to develop the volunteers further and as a reward for the hard work they already put into the project.
