SNC and the National Ice Centre

Sport student volunteers from South Nottingham College work with the National Ice Centre on the ICE (Inspiring Community Engagement) programme. The students assist the Centre coaches with coaching school pupils from across the City learning to skate.

Over the academic year 2010/2011 27 students have been involved at the National Ice Centre volunteering. Most of these students have been volunteering at the National Ice Centre for a long period of time such is the enjoyment they get out of the placement. In total the volunteers have done over 100 hours at the Ice centre.
