Most students of statutory school age will be in full-time education in secondary school. However, for a small number of students, an alternative to school education is required and, in these exceptional circumstances, this can be arranged between the College and outside agencies.
Pre 16 students are interviewed, assessed and guided by a designated member of the support team, the Pre 16 Guidance and Support Tutor. The tutor aims to match the needs of the individual to the appropriate curriculum and to monitor attendance and progress through tutorials and reviews.
