Support for Students with General Learning Difficulties
We can support students with GLD to encourage educational progression. Our specialist tutor can help assess the student’s educational needs and:
- Guide students towards appropriate advice, guidance and support.
- Work with the student towards access to appropriate courses.
- Negotiate with tutors.
- Devise strategies for overcoming barriers to learning.
- Monitor and review progress.
- Work with students and/or tutors on specific issues identified.
- Access and liaise with specialist agencies to provide help and support where issues are outside the colleges educational remit /
responsibilities.
