Mandy Hopps

Mandy Hopps, Duty Officer – Gym, Health and Fitness

With over 15 years experience working in the health, fitness and leisure industry Mandy joined SNC Active when it opened and is committed to delivering a high standard of quality customer service. Qualified to level 4 as a B.A.C.R. (British Association Cardiac Rehabilitation) phase IV instructor Mandy also delivers a wide range of group fitness sessions at all levels and abilities, with an aim to inspire the public to become fit and healthy, besides being a keen participant herself.

Jamie Dickinson

Jamie Dickinson, Duty Officer – Sport

After recently graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a BA (Hons) in Sport & Coaching Jamie is working in a sport development role at SNC Active with a view to attracting new sports and clubs to our excellent indoor facility. Jamie is a keen cricketer playing for local club Clifton Village where he is also an ECB qualified Level II & Club Coach and an active member of the ECB Coaches Association.

As a Level II qualified Gym Instructor Jamie is always on hand to provide help and support in the fitness suite.

Miles Hudson

Miles Hudson, Gym Instructor/Centre Attendant

With CYQ Level II qualifications in Gym Instructing, Exercise & Fitness Knowledge, Studio Resistance, Swiss Ball, Spin and Customer Service coupled with his Level III Personal trainer award, Miles represents one of the most experienced and valued members of the team. When he’s not helping our members with their personal training programmes Miles can be found down at the National Water Sports Centre where he is also a BCU Coach and Assessor.

Joey Stepp

Joey Stepp, Gym Instructor / Centre Attendant

Another successful product from South Nottingham College, Joey is a CYQ level II gym instructor and Level III personal trainer. As a competing bodybuilder via the UKBFF organisation Joey dedicates an enormous amount of his time to training and looking after his body. This passion for strength and fitness translates into the workplace as he takes great pleasure and pride watching his SNC Active clients’ confidence grow from his well tailored nutrition and training programmes.

Jack Peter Lane

Jack Bell, Apprentice Gym Instructor / Centre Attendant

Jack has studied sport science at Becket School and will complete his level II gym instructor and circuits course with South Nottingham College in 2012. Jack already maintains an excellent standard of fitness and conditioning through his passion for football. Currently playing for Arnold Town F.C. Jack has also represented the Nottinghamshire FA at under 18 honours. Once he has completed his apprenticeship here at SNC Active Jack will be looking to complete level III and move into Personal Training.
