Course Information:
This programme offers extensive training and development in all aspects of Hairdressing. You will need to be employed for a minimum of 16 hours a week. You will come into college one day a week to complete the underpinning knowledge and portfolio building to compile the evidence you need for the NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing and Key/Functional Skills.
Entry Requirements:
4 GCSEs including English Language at grades A* - D or NVQ Level 1 in Hairdressing with GCSE English Language at grades A*-D.
Course Content:
Cutting; Styling; Colouring; Consultation; Selling; Reception duties; Key Skills
Assessment:
Regular assessment via on-going coursework and student progress is monitored via tutorials.

The course will incur costs for kit, uniform, and workshops and will be discussed at interview
You will be required to attend college at West Bridgford 1 day per week. You will need to be employed by a salon or seeking employment. Key Skills/ functional skills are an essential part of the course.
