The potential to achieve D-G grades at GCSE level for the Foundation Diploma or the potential to achieve A*-C grades at GCSE level for the Higher Diploma.

Progression Route:
A Diploma in IT will give young people the skills they need for either university or work and is a first step towards a career in IT. It could lead to a Level 3 Diploma, A levels, university degree in computing, computer networking, information systems, business and information technology, computer games software, multimedia or graphic design. Or it could help young people begin a career as an IT professional or entrepreneur. However, the Diploma in IT doesn’t mean students have to opt for a career in this sector. Because the Diploma teaches a mix of subjects, it will give young people the skills that will be welcomed by colleges, universities and employers, no matter what course they choose to do.

Day/Time: All day Tuesday and Thursday
